ok, so this is an idea about Cogware using an AI to help "improve" the performance of the game as playtesters complained that the game was "sloppy" and "runs slow". On September 9th, 1995, after months tweaking on the AI, it was implemented on what would be Shipwrecked 64, or at the time known as the "Broadside Project". This is what one of the developers on Shipwrecked had to say on the Cogware Enhancemer AI (CEAI)

DEV LOG #67 (EARLY SEPTEMBER 1995)[]

Ok, so we've had to develop this whole new program that when we implement it on Broadside Project, it would make the game faster and will shut the playtester's mouths for once in their goddamn life. Except, that's what I wanted to think, just to put in in short, everything went wrong. we even had Anthony rushed to the hospital due to him having a episode after he activated the program.
